What is time? And why is it chasing us? Is there time in space?
Time is the human explanation of natural evolution. It is the interpretation of involuntary change. It is the measurement of the shadow on the wall. It is the pace we give to the void. Time exists, even in space, but we do not perceive it, we do not see it pass in front of us, we cannot count it or buy it.
We cannot do anything to turn it back. The lack of time can turn into torture, and it is only then when we understand its existence, it is only then when we understand how insignificant we are.
“We are travelers on a cosmic journey, stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in eternity.”
(Paolo Kelo, The Alchemist)
It is then the opportunity to realize that we do not have time to waste. “Time is money”. It is the most precious good, because we cannot catch it, exchange it, restrict it, define it. Time is just a stop from our eternal journey, and we are too insignificant to fight it. That is why we have to organize it, it is the reason we have to enjoy it, every minute, every moment, whether in fun or at work. To paint it, to dance, to taste it, to listen toit.
Coaching in every form is an opportunity to organize our time, in a way that years later, if we are given the opportunity to get closer and look back, to fill with a sense of fullness.
